Location: Sarasota, FL
Instruments used: Naked eye, binoculars later
Weather: Good
Visibility: Great
Moon Phase: Waning gibbous
Stars: Aldebaren, Rigel,
Regulus, Castor, Pollux, Betelguese
Planets: Jupiter
Constellations: Orion, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Leo
Minor, Sextans
Observations: The perfect night to finish off my hours.
Spring constellations are easy to observe, especially once you find Orion. Most
of what I saw was zodiacal, although I was pleased with myself for spotting
Sextans.
